Our expert chefs train you in finer nuances in preparation of breakfast, lunch, dinners, for room service as well as serving in the multicuisine restaurants, poolside, captain special dinners various gaming avenues etc.

On the Job Training – After completing the 4 month Certificate Course, students will be provided 1 year Paid On the Job Training at Star/Luxury Hotels.

Course Structure

This program to get skilled and certified for a dream career in International Cruise Lines, endeavours to equip students with all the information, norms, procedures, and certifications necessary to work in any department of Cruise Lines.

For those aspiring to join the Cruiseline industry they should have the following:

  • Domain knowledge and skills in Food & Beverage Service department
  • Must have 1-2 years of experience in the 5-star hotel industry
  • Should have the STCW training certificate

STCW: Standards of Training, Certification and Watch Keeping

Apart from the above specialisation course, the students have to complete the 16 days STCW Training course (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping). This has to be completed additionally from authorised DG shipping center.

The 16 days certification course offers training in coping with emergencies on board, including firefighting and preventing fires, personal survival techniques, elementary first aid, and the various personal and social responsibilities you must adhere to while living and working on board.

An STCW certificate is a prerequisite to joining the cruise line, and there are refresher courses to keep your certificates updated with the latest requirements every five years.
